Caramba
Designed by Fred Parker and built by Samuel White and Co. Cowes in 1962, Caramba is an elegant 62’ steel motor yacht built to small ship specification.
Over an 18 month period she was comprehensively rebuilt at Stirling and Son. The underwater hull was re-framed and re-plated to Lloyds. The steel deck was re-beamed, re-plated and overlaid with semi-swept Teak. Weighing 60 tons, she is powered by her original pair of Gardner 6LXB engines, rebuilt to zero hours. Her interior was re-designed by the yard and rebuilt with Cherry veneer finish, with the exception of the wheel house with a Teak veneer finish. All systems were renewed with the inclusion of a pair of stabilising gyros.
