GL Watson Trawler Dawn Hunter
Dawn Hunter was launched in 1960 by Jones of Buckie, Scotland to a GL Watson design.
She was initially a fisheries protection vessel and subsequently a trawler before becoming a yacht.
She underwent a 10 month refit in preparation for high latitude sailing which included new topside planking, new stanchions, bulwarks and covering boards a new anchor windlass and maintenance of her Gardner 6L3 diesel engine.
